Course Overview

An introduction to concepts in Operating Systems and techniques used in their implemention. Course presents different aspects of operating systems such as; memory management, process scheduling, management of devices, IO management, multi-tasking, multi-thread programming, file systems and inter-process communication techniques. Course treats both theoretical and practical issues in modern operating systems.
